Lanterns for Fall and Halloween

As the days get shorter and evenings feel a little cooler, lighting becomes an important part of creating a warm and inviting home. Lanterns are especially versatile because they add both light and structure to a space while working beautifully with the textures and colors of fall.

Better yet, you don't have to completely restyle them every few weeks. Start with pumpkins, branches, and warm autumn tones, add a few darker accents for Halloween, and then transition the same lanterns into your holiday décor with greenery and ornaments.

1. Create a Warm Welcome in the Entryway

Your entryway is one of the easiest places to introduce seasonal décor because even a small arrangement can change the feeling of the space.
